Panama Global was founded in 2007 by a small team of underwriters and brokers who believed Panama's role as a regional financial hub deserved an insurance partner with the depth to match. Nineteen years on, we remain independent, family-owned, and committed to a single idea: a broker only earns trust when the cheque clears.

Founded in Panama City
Licensed by the Superintendencia de Seguros y Reaseguros. First placement: a marine cargo open cover for a Colombian flower exporter.
Lloyd's correspondent appointment
Became one of the first Panamanian brokers with direct correspondent status at Lloyd's of London, opening capacity for complex specialty risks.
Property practice launched
Added a dedicated property & engineering team to serve the wave of infrastructure investment following the canal expansion.
Cyber & specialty buildout
Built a specialty practice covering D&O, cyber, and political risk — meeting demand from regional clients facing new categories of exposure.
Group benefits division
Launched a life & health brokerage serving employers with multi-country workforces across Latin America.
